The art world never stops being rocked by the rebel Bjarne Melgaard, known for his graphic expressionism and highlighting of taboos. Bob Recine has been on a very different journey - traversing the gap between art and commerce through his longstanding fascination with the rituals of high magic. Together their advanced creations stand out like an alchemical reaction between two groundbreaking artists.

Bjarne Melgaard and Bob Recine is a friendship duo that have already worked together on a few occasions. Last year their strong breeze of a disturbed spirit hit Paris with Bjarne’s exhibition The Casual Pleasure of Disappointment at Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac. The two artists are now reunited in Oslo presented in an interactive installation created by Void with fusional art by Snøhetta.

Blood, Stones and Certain Beasts features Bjarne Melgaard and Bob Recine’s combined creations, including characteristic elements like painting, plastic, hair, make-up, doll-like figures and various other materials. These elements are juxtaposing the individual work, melting the universes of the two artists into refreshingly new expressions.

This sales exhibition is presented in collaboration with Rod Bianco Gallery.

Jenny’s and Tom’s celebrated careers are founded on communicating images and the inner lives of young women across several mediums and genres. The partners and coworkers manage to balance their private life and personal preferences harmonizing their work into one shared vision.

The feature-length documentary film all this panic is jenny and tom’s latest project, shot over a three-year period, resulting in unparalleled intimacy and access to the interior lives of a group of teenage girls as they come of age in Brooklyn, New York City.

The couple wanted to work with an organic approach to the filming process to encourage the girls to feel free to share
the kind of unimpeded raw emotions that they were seeking to portray. All the footage is shot as a two-person crew with minimal equipment, relying solely on natural light. this focus has made it possible to capture something genuine and recognizable to everyone.

SKUR 13,

The spirit of Uncontaminated 2016’s collective exhibition is haunted by an eclectic non-conformity; an artistic tendency catalyzed by a rapidly changing world and a hunger for individual freedom. From their different angles and approaches – The diversified artists’ visual expressions are being explored, creating clashes and refreshingly disturbing contrasts.

This mashed-up universe is populated with strong viewpoints expressed through critical, yet touching hard core naturalism and futuristic visions of beauty. This year’s collective connects established artists with the emerging in a tastefully chaotic fusion of expressions – in both an analogue and virtual space.

From Synchrodogs’ quest to awaken our primitive instincts and intuition to
Lea Colombo’s unexpected documentation of the South African ghetto and its ancient rituals.

We are clearly taken on a bumpy ride. The intimacy of Amanda Charchian’s work hits us as her landscape unveils itself, and Isabelitavirtual, a new kind of muse from the internet is materialized in the human shape as Instagram’s favorite creative, @isabelitavirtual.

Charlie Engman takes photography to another level with his investigative lens, while Petra Collins works both behind and in front of the camera. Arielle Chiara who will certainly supply a bit of eccentricity in her eclectic and casual kind of way.
The collective challenge is a journey and we welcome you all.
