Literature: This is not a specific piece, but I'm inspired by the American Dream and
it's influence on the 21st Century American literature. The ideas discussed by that group of writers
to me feel very relevant to fashion and to today

Art: My favorite photo book at the moment is Scavullo On Beauty, it's a great time capsule.
He's a photographer that clearly took great pleasure in making women feel and look beautiful.

Music: Music is difficult. I have so many different periods and moments where I need a different soundtrack. I listen to music about every minute of my life. Other Lives, The Smiths and Mastodon.
Film: With film it’s easier. The Land Before Time, Mulholland Drive and 2001: A Space Odyssey, all movies that changed my life in different ways. The Land Before Time because it was my favourite movie as a kid, and it will always be close to my heart. Mulholland Drive and Lynch's movies in general are probably my main inspiration conceptually. I love the way he works, and the lack of linear structure. 2001: A Space Odyssey is just a brilliant film in every way possible.
Literature: My three favourite books are Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad, Wuthering Heights by Emily Brönte and Moby Dick by Herman Melville. Probably because to a certain degree I can identify and relate to the protagonists in the books, the mean, greedy, jealous heart of Heathcliff, the obsessive and wrathful mind of Ahab and the destructive nature of Kurtz.
